Admission Requirements for MSc in Project Planning and Management

Applicants should be those who graduated from a recognized University or College with BA/BSc in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or other closely related fields who have taken core courses (Microeconomics and /or Macroeconomics) and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 (graduated).

Admission Requirements for MSc in Project Planning and Management

Applicants should be those who graduated from a recognized University or College with BA/BSc in any field of study and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 (graduated).

Entrance

The applicant must meet satisfactorily the selection criteria which may include the entrance examination. If the applicant is from a university abroad, he/she must bring a letter of credential that assesses the equivalence standard from the Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA) under the Ministry of Education, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Given the availability of place, admissions to the programs shall be on a competitive and competence basis. A student must score 50% and above in the entrance exam to competitively join the program on top of the other requirements.

Selection Criteria

The eligibility of having BA/BSc does not guarantee admission to the program unless other criteria are fulfilled. Selection to the MSc program will be based on criteria such as cGPA, entrance exam, and years of work experience depending on the situation.
